According to the company responsible for supplying water to the city of Lisbon, "the price update for the vast majority of EPAL's domestic customers, approximately 85% (average monthly consumption of 7 m3 and a meter up to 25mm), is 17 cents per month."
According to EPAL, the tariffs were updated in accordance with the forecast of the harmonised consumer price index, published by the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Authority (ERSAR), and were approved by the same Authority to take effect in 2026.
EPAL also reminds customers that it has available the Social Water Tariff for those most in need, which provides discounts of up to 93%, and a Family Tariff for families with five or more people.
