The €136 million budget passed with votes from the PSD/CDS-PP majority, while Chega voted against and abstentions from JPP, PS and IL.

Mayor Jorge Carvalho said that this proposal continues the coalition’s fiscal policy, returning about €30 million to residents and businesses by the end of the term, with the IRS refund costing €24 million over four years and the waived surcharge reducing revenue by €6 million.
