The formalisation of the protocol signed between the developer Carvoeiro Branco, the Algarve Hydrographic Region Administration and the Lagoa City Council, now makes it possible to implement the necessary technical solution for wastewater treatment, which was previously pending and consequently conditioned the progress of the project in recent years, as stated in a press release by Carvoeiro Branco.
The signing of the cooperation protocol to strengthen the wastewater sanitation system has boosted the project’s progress.

Vale da Pipa Residente, which presents itself as the largest affordable housing project in the Algarve region, and developed in a partnership between Carvoeiro Branco and Teixeira, Pinto & Soares, S.A (TPS), anticipates the construction of 304 apartments and 20 plots for houses,, to meet the growing need for housing supply in the Algarve, as well as contribute to a more sustainable and long-term solution in terms of access to housing. To date, the project has already received more than 250 registered expressions of interest.
Once the conditions for the final phase of the subdivision approval process are met, the infrastructure works will begin, followed by the start of sales.
