The questionnaire aims to encourage companies to move toward an Agriculture 5.0 model and to "collect strategic information that allows the development of technological solutions in the sector to be aligned," and will be conducted as part of a project funded by the European Interreg program, the association said in a statement.

In this way, it is intended to "assess the level of digitalisation of agricultural companies, identify needs, opportunities and challenges associated with the adoption of innovative technologies and support the development of practical, effective solutions tailored to the reality of farms," it explained.

NERA stressed that the information is being collected online in Portugal, Spain, and France until February and asked companies to participate so they can adopt solutions that promote a "more innovative, competitive and sustainable" agriculture.
