Zoomarine Algarve will hold a Recruitment Open Day on 20 February, from 10am to 5pm, inviting candidates from all over Portugal to discover job opportunities and meet the park’s teams in person.
Available positions include Animal Welfare Technicians, Veterinary Medicine internships, and many other roles across the park.
Throughout the day, each department will present its areas of work and the profiles it is looking to recruit, in an approachable format designed to encourage dialogue, answer questions, and enable direct interaction with team leaders. The program will also include employees sharing their experiences and the opportunity for quick interviews, making it a great chance to get to know the park and its career opportunities in depth.
The Open Day will showcase positions across multiple areas, from animal welfare and veterinary medicine—such as Animal Welfare Technicians working with birds and marine mammals, and Veterinary Medicine internships—to environmental education, park operations, restaurants, retail, technical areas, IT, and administrative roles. This wide variety of positions reflects the diverse teams and career paths at Zoomarine, all working together to support animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and the overall visitor experience.
The Open Day is open to candidates from all over Portugal, not just the Algarve. Zoomarine also provides support with accommodation and travel for participants joining from other regions, making it easier for talented people from across the country to take part.
