The court claims that the company uses "pressure selling" tactics on its website, including messages about seat scarcity and the urgency of purchasing tickets, promoting non-existent discounts, and hiding baggage charges.

If the tactic is not suspended, the company will have to pay a daily fine of €5,000, limited to €1 million.

The action was brought by the consumer protection organisation Test Achats, with the support of Euroconsumers, who jointly accused Ryanair of misleading passengers with false warnings of a shortage of available seats and misleading prices.
