According to the city council, which promotes the event in partnership with the Alentejo Pig Breeders Association (ACPA), this year’s edition of the fair "includes a prominent musical lineup, with artists of renowned standing in Portuguese music."

In addition to the concerts, the Alentejo Pig Fair includes a technical program dedicated to the Alentejo pig sector, gastronomic demonstrations, exhibitions of specimens of the Alentejo breed, and spaces for reflection and debate on the challenges and opportunities of the agricultural sector.

The event also includes tastings of traditional products, food stalls, competitions, a ham raffle, cultural entertainment, and other initiatives aimed at diverse audiences.
