On 25 and 26 February, the Damas venue in Lisbon will host the “Benefit Distrito Leiria” initiative, which includes performances by artists such as Alex D”Alva, April Marmara, Inóspita, Luís Severo, Akila, Chinaskee, Filipe Sambado and Violeta Azevedo.

"We are coming together for two days, in a network of solidarity that has spread throughout the country, to support the efforts of InPulsar - Association for Community Development [based in Leiria] to rebuild houses destroyed during the tragedy. All help is welcome," reads the
post shared on the venue’s and the artists’ social media accounts.

The entrance fee for each day is set at a minimum of €10.

ADAO – Associação Desenvolvimento Artes e Ofícios (Arts and Crafts Development Association), in Barreiro, will host a “Charity concert in support of storm victims” on 1 March.

The line-up for the show includes Maquina, Hetta, Cleric Beast, Prado and OkA.

In this case, all ticket sales will go to the ATLAS – People Like Us association, which operates mainly in the areas of Leiria, Marinha Grande, Pombal, Coimbra, Alcobaça and Batalha.
The “recommended donation” for this show is a minimum of ten euros, and the audience is also invited to bring “non-perishable food items.” More information about which items are considered most urgent will be provided closer to the concert date.

Meanwhile, on 28 February, the Atlas bar in Leiria will host an exhibition and charity fair, the proceeds of which “will be converted into goods needed to support the victims of Storm Kristin and delivered to the municipality [of Leiria]”.

To hold the exhibition, “visual artists, sculptors and illustrators” are challenged to submit original works, up to A4 in size, for sale by 21 February.

On Thursday, 19 February, the Quartel das Artes Dr. Alípio Sol, in Oliveira do Bairro, will host a charity show in aid of the populations affected by the Kristin depression, featuring performances by José Cid, Meninos da Sacristia, Salomão and Bárbara Oliveira.

Tickets cost €10, and all proceeds will go “towards the purchase of materials and equipment considered a priority by the entities responsible for coordinating aid to the affected populations,” according to the Oliveira do Bairro City Council, which is promoting the show.

The home of musician and composer José Cid, in Mogofores, in the municipality of Anadia, Aveiro, was one of many homes affected by several adverse weather phenomena that passed through Portugal in recent weeks.

On Saturday, it was announced that the fundraising campaign for the charity concert “Amor ao Centro” (Love at the Centre), in support of depression Kristin victims, which took place on 11 February at Casa Capitão in Lisbon, raised €18,707 for two associations.

Of the total amount raised, €11,107 came from an online campaign on the GoFundMe platform, and €7,600 from ticket sales for the show, which featured performances by Ana Lua Caiano, Bia Maria, Iolanda, Joana Espadinha and Surma.

The beneficiary associations are Atlas, based in Coimbra but operating throughout the country, particularly in Coimbra, Leiria, Marinha Grande, Pombal, Alcobaça and Batalha.
