"With regard to Gaza, Portugal may make itself available, always as an observer, to be present at moments that allow the consolidation of the peace or reconstruction process," a source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MNE) indicated in statements to Lusa regarding the first meeting of the body created by US President Donald Trump.
Portugal received an invitation from the White House to join the Peace Council, with the head of Portuguese diplomacy admitting to joining this body as long as it was limited to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Not a great use of your time or money! A Trump Peace Council with Trump self appointed and having an indefinite leadership, how is this a world peace council. Don't be fooled. This is an oligarchy! Better to watch the lowlights on TV, you won't miss anything!
