Recent achievements across multiple disciplines reflect the strength and diversity of sport at CJD. At the highest international level, CJD students were crowned U17 World Champions, representing the Portuguese football National Team after previously securing the European Championship. This historic achievement for Portuguese football highlights the school’s ability to support elite sporting performance while ensuring academic continuity and personal growth.

At national and international competitions, CJD athletes continue to stand out. A Year 12 student was selected to represent Portugal in the U18 National Rugby Team, marking a significant milestone in his sporting pathway. In team competition, CJD claimed victory at the Santa Rita International Tournament, further reinforcing its competitive presence beyond national borders.

Individual performances across different sports add to this picture of excellence. In chess, a CJD student secured second place at a national tournament, completing the competition undefeated. In karate, a student athlete once again achieved first place in the Girls’ U10 Kata category, becoming a two-time champion in a highly demanding international event. In rhythmic gymnastics, CJD gymnasts delivered outstanding performances, winning gold and silver medals across multiple disciplines.
