The main objective of these direct flights is to transport Portuguese people to Walt Disney World Resort, with service beginning on 29 October. In total, three flights per week will be available, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as revealed by Luís Rodrigues, CEO of TAP.

Strengthening the North

According to Jornal de Notícias, TAP also intends to strengthen its offering in the North of the country, namely at Porto Airport. In this context, new routes have been created from Porto: to Terceira Island, starting 1 July; to Praia, in Cape Verde, starting 2 July; and to Tel Aviv, in Israel, starting 25 October.

The company also intends to strengthen the route between Porto and Boston to make it an annual operation.
