108 players took to the Quinta do Lago South Course in perfect conditions to raise money for APATRIS21 and Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, children’s charities in Faro. The main competition was followed by a skills competition at Quinta do Lago‘s state of the art Performance Centre hosted by Head Professional Callum Burgess.

The presentation charity dinner in the evening was held at the popular Dano’s at the heart of Quinta do Lago. The online charity auction was also hotly contested and made a significant contribution to the total raised. The team competition was a won by CGQL Honorary Junior Member and Orlando International Amateur winner Amelia Gabin, Amanda Stretton, Joe Anichebe and John Scouler.

The Captains are delighted with the amount that the event raised for the charities which was only made possible by the generous support, donations and sponsorship of members and their guests as well as main sponsors including Quinta do Lago, Clube da Quinta (property rentals and management), Quinta do Lago Real Estate, Vigiquinta (security), Q Landscape, Leodoro (Almancil), Prime Wine (Loule) and GolfeJardim (Almancil).
