According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of diesel would rise by 23 cents next week and gasoline by 7 cents. However, the Government will proceed with the reduction of the ISP (Tax on Petroleum Products).

According to the Ministry of Finance, “in compliance with the support announced by the Executive this week, an extraordinary and temporary discount on the Tax on Petroleum Products (ISP) will be applied to road diesel in the amount of 3.55 cents per litre, returning to taxpayers the additional ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services) revenue corresponding to the expected price increase.”
