Preventive measures

Remembering that the potential impact of these effects can be minimised through preventive measures and appropriate behaviour, Civil Protection requests that activities near waterways and crossings of flooded areas be avoided, and that animals, equipment, vehicles, and other belongings be removed from normally flooded areas to safe locations.

The notice also advises the population to ensure the secure anchoring of loose structures, such as scaffolding, billboards, and other suspended structures, and to exercise special care when circulating and remaining near wooded areas, due to the possibility of falling branches and trees in strong winds.
