The increase is 0.1 percentage points higher than in January, with all regions registering year-on-year growth, the INE (National Institute of Statistics) reported.

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in February, "all regions showed positive annual variations in housing rents, with Madeira registering the most intense increase (7.0%)".

In monthly terms, the average rental value per square metre increased by 0.6%, compared to 0.8% the previous month.

The region with the largest positive monthly variation was Madeira (0.7%), and no region showed a negative monthly variation in average rent.
