Baixa‑Chiado is an interchange station linking the Blue and Green Lines of the Lisbon Metro.
It sits beneath Rua Ivens, between the Baixa and Chiado districts, which give the station its name. The station opened on 25 April 1998 with service on the Green Line, while the Blue Line platforms began operating on 8 August of the same year.
Its architectural design was created by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
