The warning for the districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga will be in effect between 9 pm on Friday and 6 pm on Saturday, given the forecast of northwest waves of 4 to 5 meters.
Weather warning issued in six Portugal districts
Six districts in mainland Portugal will be under a yellow warning on Friday, 13 March, and Saturday, 14 March, due to the forecast of strong sea agitation, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
