The Forum, which takes place annually in the Municipality that holds the title of European City of Sport, is one of the most important moments for reflection, discussion, and updates on national football and futsal.

In this symbolic year for the municipality, sports professionals have the opportunity to participate in an experience that promises two intense days of knowledge, debate and networking, bringing together specialists, coaches, technicians and academics in an environment marked by the sharing of ideas and the pursuit of excellence.

Nuno Espírito Santo (speaker), Bino Maçães (world and European under-17 football champion); José Luís Mendes, national futsal coach; Paulo Bento, coach and former national coach; Carlos Carvalhal; Paulo Fonseca, Leonardo Jardim, Rui Borges (national champion) and José Luís Mendes (European under-19 champion) are some of the names already confirmed for the initiative certified with 15 UEFA hours and three Credit Units, specific for continuing education and valid for the renewal of UEFA PRO licenses.

The 2026 program includes lectures with the leading national experts, practical workshops on football and futsal, and discussion panels on current sports issues focusing on training and coaches.

The practical football component takes place at the Municipal Stadium in collaboration with Imortal Desportivo Clube, while the practical futsal component takes place at the Albufeira Sports Gymnasium in collaboration with Albufeira Futsal Clube.

It should be noted that ANTF is the entity that officially represents football coaches in Portugal, being recognised by the Football Federation, UEFA and FIFA, as the body responsible for defending, valuing and promoting the career of football, futsal and beach soccer coaches.

Registration for the National Association of Football Coaches Forum is still open and can be done through the ANTF website.
