Oliveira finished the race 5.129 seconds behind the winner, Italian Nicolò Bulega (Ducati), who achieved a clean sweep and won all three races held in the Algarve, with Spaniard Iker Lecuona (Ducati) in second place, 1.967 seconds behind.
It was Bulega's 10th consecutive victory in the Superbike World Championship, a streak that began in the second race at Estoril in 2025, the penultimate round of last season.
Miguel Oliveira started from third position for this final race, after having finished third in the Superpole race, which took place on the morning of 29 March. The Portuguese rider overtook Lecuona, but was passed by Briton Alex Lowes (Bimota) on the first braking point.
The Portuguese rider persisted and would eventually move up to second place, but on the third lap, the Ducati's greater power allowed the Spaniard to take second, passing the Portuguese rider, who this afternoon had more difficulty finding stability on his bike due to the wind.
Alex Lowes would come within three tenths of a second of the Portuguese rider, but Oliveira managed to gain breathing room at the end of the main straight and, especially, on the first braking points up to turn five of the Algarve track.

With these results, the Italian further cements his lead in the World Championship, with 124 points, against 68 for Iker Lecuona, who moved up to second position. Miguel Oliveira leaves Portimão in fourth place, with 56 points, four behind the Italian Axel Bassani (Bimota).
“As I expected, it was going to be a very tough race. I didn't have much more to give. I left everything on the track, including the rear tyre. It was the best race possible. I felt a little worse than yesterday; I don't know if it was due to the wind. When I dropped to 41 seconds, I was completely on reserve. Now I'm looking forward to what might happen next,” the Portuguese driver emphasised.
