Infarmed explains in an informative circular published on its website that the decision to suspend marketing and order the withdrawal from the market followed a complaint and inspection.
According to Infarmed, “Dives Med / Glow X9 Biorevitalization Peel 4ml” contains the ingredient “phenol,” the use of which is prohibited in cosmetic products.
Furthermore, it adds, the claims associated with this product dedicated to skin rejuvenation do not comply with the provisions of the European Union Regulation applicable to cosmetic products.
Infarmed appeals to entities that possess this product not to make it available or use it, and to contact the companies Asas Arrojadas Unip. Ltda. or DivesMed Portugal if they wish to obtain additional information.
It also recommends that consumers who have this product not use it.
