The goal is to support more than 40 partner social institutions.
The campaign's message, “Give 1% to those who give everything,” is a simple reminder that even a small act can go a long way. By donating 1% of their 2025 income tax, people can directly support organisations doing important, everyday work in their communities.
In Alcoutim, home to Galp’s largest solar park in Portugal, this year’s campaign will benefit several local institutions: the children’s centre “A Joaninha” (run by the Alcoutim Volunteer Firefighters Association), as well as the parish centres of Cachopo, Martim Longo, and Vaqueiros, along with Lar dos Balurcos.

The initiative is also about shining a light on the people and organisations that have been quietly supporting their communities for years. The Galp Foundation has been working closely with them, helping in practical ways to support locals and keep these communities strong.
As part of the campaign, these areas will be featured in local media and outdoor advertising, highlighting the importance of supporting those who dedicate themselves to others. In Alcoutim, the “A Joaninha” Children’s Centre has been chosen as the face of the campaign.
More information about all participating institutions can be found on the Galp Foundation website.
