The fire, which was reported at 6:02 am, broke out in the Serra do Caramulo, in the area of ​​São João do Monte and Mosteirinho Corte, in the municipality of Tondela, in the district of Viseu, and is not putting populations at risk, according to the same source.

"The firefighting is being hampered by the strong wind in the area. The deployment will be reinforced," the source indicated.

At 8:10 am, 106 firefighters were on site, supported by 32 land vehicles.
