At the end of October, Ryanair will stop flights between Faro and Porto and between Faro and Berlin.

Impact on tourism

SkyExpert analysed the Irish airline's decision based on data from November 2025, when Ryanair operated flights from Portugal's three main airports to Berlin.

In November 2025, Ryanair operated 22 flights to Faro, 30 to Lisbon, and 17 to Porto, totalling 13,000 available seats. Thus, these numbers represented half of the air capacity between Berlin and Portugal during the low season.

However, Ryanair will continue connecting Portugal to Berlin via Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon.
