In a statement revealing the first names for this year's festival, the organization announced that the 22nd edition of the event will take place between 1 to 4 October and includes the national premiere of the project ∈Y∋ + ​​C.O.L.O., by Yamantaka Eye (best known as the vocalist of Boredoms, Hanatarash and for his work with Naked City), and performances by Klein, Pink Siifu and the trio composed of Whitney Johnson, Lia Kohl and Macie Stewart, who will be in residence at the Augusto Cabrita Municipal Auditorium.

The American composer Phill Niblock (1933-2024) will be honoured with the interpretation of two of his works by Rafael Toral, Manuel Mota, Margarida Garcia and André Gonçalves.

"It is also worth noting the return of Manja Ristić to Barreiro, where she will develop new work in artistic residence based at the city's Sound Archive, continuing the festival's site-specific creation approach," added the organisation, which also revealed the names of Shane Parish, Josey Rebelle, Deli Girls, TNL, Senyawa, Rita Silva & Mbye Ebrima and Deafkids.

The festival, which takes place in that city in the Setúbal district in October, has passes on sale for 61 euros plus fees.
