On 6 May, The Portugal News reported that British singer Bonnie Tyler had been hospitalised following an operation, but her condition has since deteriorated.

According to Correio da Manhã (CM), the singer is now in an induced coma, having been in hospital since 30 March.
According to the same source, the singer is unconscious and needs a ventilator to help her breathe in the Intensive Care Unit, and her prognosis is uncertain.
Although it was reported on 6 May that the singer was in a stable condition, her health has deteriorated.
