The districts of Évora, Faro, Setúbal, Santarém, Lisbon and Beja will be under a yellow rain warning from 9 pm on 8 May to 12 pm on Saturday, 9 May.

The districts of Leiria, Castelo Branco and Portalegre will be under a yellow warning between 6 am and 3 pm on Saturday, 9 May.

The IPMA also issued a yellow warning for the districts of Faro, Setúbal, Lisbon and Beja between 3 am and 9 am on Saturday, 9 May, due to strong winds with gusts of up to 75 kilometres per hour, especially on the coast.

The mountainous regions of Madeira Island are also under a yellow warning until 3 pm on 8 May due to the forecast of strong winds with gusts of up to 95 kilometres per hour (km/h).
