Portugal did not qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

The song "Rosa" by Bandidos do Cante did not qualify during the first semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest, which is taking place in Austria.
This is the first time since 2021 that Portugal does not qualify for a final in Eurovision.
The second semifinal of the festival happens on 14 May, and the final is set to happen on 17 May.

Well, with Israel in the final and no Portugal, the choice is easy to boycot the entire event.

This is actually an accolade of sorts. Given what I've seen from recent Eurovision winning contestants, I'll be kind and say that the mildest reaction would be raised eyebrows.
