Taking place on the terrace of You and The Sea in Ericeira, the independently organised Ericeira Jazz & Vinho festival has grown steadily since its beginnings five years ago as a small gathering between friends at a private home. What started as an informal celebration of music, wine and community has since evolved into a larger public event, with organisers hoping to continue expanding the festival in future editions.

The focus remains firmly on showcasing Portuguese talent and regional identity, from the wineries and restaurants involved to the musicians performing throughout the evening.

Organisers say the aim is to attract a broader Portuguese audience from Lisbon, Cascais, Mafra and Ericeira itself, while highlighting some of the best food, wine and culture being produced in the region.

Alongside wine tastings and jazz performances, several restaurants will be serving food during the event, with all participants carrying a Portuguese focus.

The festival is also designed to be family-friendly, welcoming both children and adults in a relaxed outdoor setting by the sea.
