The journalist and chief correspondent editor at CNN, on her Instagram, reports the "Chaos at Lisbon Airport today [26 May]".
In the same video, the journalist also mentions that it was the longest line she had ever been in, which she attributed to the EES system, leading her to spend 2 hours in line for biometric data collection and consequently miss her flight.
Clarissa Ward also revealed in her post that TAP passengers were being given priority in the line to avoid missing connecting flights. The journalist also mentioned that many children and elderly people were waiting in line for several hours.
While showing the line of passengers with non-European passports, Ward described the new system as a "disaster".

Maybe you can give some positive news, that the Lisbon airport hugely expanded their passport control area today, May 29, adding multiple booths and E-gates.
