The incident occurred on 27 May, following an episode of unexpected turbulence, as TAP informed Correio da Manhã.

The passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital in Lisbon, where the plane was scheduled to land.

"TAP confirms that two passengers on flight TP643 Brussels-Lisbon were assisted upon arrival at their destination," reported an official TAP source, quoted by the same media outlet.
