At 10:25 am, a source from the Cávado Sub-regional Command told the Lusa news agency that the fire, which originated in the parish of Valdosende, continues to burn in a wooded area, stressing that the fight against the flames "is progressing favourably," with no houses at risk.

According to the same source, on the morning of 11 June, three aircraft were deployed to the site around 9 am.

At 10:30 am, according to the Civil Protection website, the fire was being fought by 117 personnel, supported by 30 vehicles and three aircraft.

At 6:30 am, the fight against the flames mobilised 75 personnel from various fire departments, supported by 18 vehicles, and was "consuming an area of ​​scrubland on a difficult-to-access slope," indicated the Cávado Sub-regional Command at the time.
