The memories of Sport Club Torreense’s Taça de Portugal victory are scattered across thousands of phones. Photos lost in camera rolls, videos shared once in a group chat, stories that have already expired. Over time, many of these records will simply disappear - deleted to free up storage, lost in a phone upgrade.

Torreense decided this story deserves more than that.

The club has just launched jamor.torreense.com, a collective memory platform where anyone - member, supporter, or sympathiser, from Torres Vedras or anywhere in the world - can submit their photos, videos, and written accounts of the cup victory. The goal: to build, together with those who lived this moment, the largest digital archive of a sporting achievement ever created in Portugal. An archive that will live online and, in time, find a permanent home in the future Sport Club Torreense Museum.

“We are deeply committed to preserving the memory of this achievement. We know there are thousands of photos and videos scattered across our fans’ phones - and that many of those records will end up being lost. Everyone can contribute however they wish, with whatever they wrote, photographed, or filmed. The goal is to build, together, a great archive that will exist online and, later, in our Museum. This victory was lived by thousands of people. It deserves to be told by all of them.”

A story told by those who lived it

The platform was designed to make participating as natural as sharing a photo on social media. Anyone can submit photos, videos, or texts. Contributors choose whether to publish under their name or anonymously, and each submission automatically generates a shareable link.

The content comes to life in an interactive digital mural, with autoplay video and full-screen mode - designed not only for the online experience, but to function as an installation in the club’s museum and in public spaces across Torres Vedras. The result is a living archive that grows with every contribution, turning thousands of individual memories into a collective portrait of the victory.

Artificial intelligence in the backstage

For a platform open to thousands of contributions to run seamlessly, Torreense partnered with gamgi.ai, a company specialising in applied artificial intelligence. The solution includes an automatic moderation system that analyses each piece of submitted content in real time, filtering inappropriate material and reducing the need for human review to exceptional cases. It is this technological layer that allows the club to receive a massive volume of contributions while maintaining the quality and safety of the archive.

“When Torreense challenged us with this project, we weren’t just building a platform - we were helping to preserve a moment that moved us all. We designed and developed the entire experience from scratch, so that any fan can contribute their memories simply and safely. It’s AI at the service of one of the most beautiful stories in Portuguese football.”

The first chapter of an archive that will keep growing

The platform was built as a permanent piece of club infrastructure, ready to accompany the next chapters of Torreense’s history - from European campaigns to future titles. But the most important chapter is this one, and it starts now.

The story of the cup victory is on your phones. Torreense is asking you not to leave it there.- - -
