We held a golf competition in the morning, the winning pair being Dean Chambers and Peter Bell, with help from our sponsors giving prizes for nearest the pin competitions on different holes around the course, along with a putting competition on the practise putting green, they include;

Prime wine, Oscars bar and Kitchen, St James Global, Abbeygate, Carclasse Mercedes, Bennetts beds and Artlink

During the golf competition, At halfway House we supplied a refreshments stop, and also sold raffle tickets of which the prizes were very kindly donated by lots of generous business’s throughout the Algarve, After the competition there was a lunch at L’Olive Restaurant in Vila Sol Club House, starting with drinks on the terrace supplied by Prime Wines and where an Auction was to take place, with again very generous donations from Local businesses, we followed the Lunch with Music by The Washington Band Kindly supplied by Oscars Bar and Kitchen.

On the whole we raised 12,500€ for our worthy charities;

Goldra Dog Sanctuary,

AHDPA, (Associcao Humanitaria Doentes Parkinson Alzheimer)

ACCA, (Algarve based charity dedicated to helping Children in need) Algarves Family’s in Need,

Mãozinhas Solidárias (Little Helping Hands)

Faro Humanitarian Association of Fire Fighters, Cruz Lusa and

Associação Oncológica do Algarve.
