The public auction notice issued by the Ponte de Lima Municipality and published today in the *Diário da República* (Official Gazette) lists 11 BEDM breed lambs, three Churra do Minho lambs, seven BEDM breeding ewes, and three Churra do Minho breeding ewes.

The lot also includes one breeding ewe of an unspecified breed, one Churra do Minho breeding ram, one BEDM breeding ram, seven Bravia-breed kids, and two Bravia-breed breeding does.

It also includes a female Bísaro pig for 250 euros, plus VAT.

The public auction will take place in the Great Hall of the Ponte de Lima Town Hall in the Viana do Castelo district on 14 Jul at 10am.

According to the Ponte de Lima Municipality, this sale occurs when animal numbers exceed Quinta de Pentieiros' capacity, putting pressure on the pastures.

The Bertiandos and São Pedro de Arcos Lagoons Protected Landscape Area is situated at the foot of the Serra d'Arga mountains, in a zone that includes two lagoons, several watercourses (such as the Estorãos River), agricultural areas, and forest areas.

The Bertiandos and São Pedro d'Arcos Lagoons Protected Area spans 350 hectares within the municipality of Ponte de Lima, featuring approximately 22 kilometres of walking trails that allow visitors to enjoy diverse landscapes typical of wetland and rural areas.

The protected area includes facilities dedicated to heritage interpretation, such as an environmental interpretation centre, a network of walking trails, and historical and cultural routes.

The Pentieiros estate, meanwhile, features a three-star camping and caravan park, a hostel (housed in the estate's former stables), bungalows (accommodation units complementing the campsite), a visitor reception centre, an educational farm, a forest park, a country house, and a warden's house, among other facilities.
