The product in question is the “Dubai Style Pistachio Flavour & Chocolate Ice Cream – 500 ml.” (Gelado ao estilo Dubai, com sabor a Pistácio e Chocolate - 500 ml)
Lidl Portugal is recalling the item, specifically batches with best-before dates of 04/12/2027 and 05/12/2027, the company announced in a statement.
The reason for the recall is that the presence of cashews in the product cannot be ruled out, according to the company.
“Due to the risk of an allergic reaction upon consumption, consumers with a cashew allergy must strictly heed this warning and under no circumstances consume the affected product. For consumers without a cashew allergy, the product is safe to eat,” the company assured.
Consumers who purchased the ice cream may return it to any of the chain's stores for a full refund, “even without a receipt.”
This recall applies exclusively to the “Dubai Style Pistachio Flavour & Chocolate Ice Cream – 500 ml” item under the “1001 delights” brand, with best-before dates of 04/12/2027 and 05/12/2027.
Other products sold at Lidl stores, including other items from the “1001 delights” brand, are not affected by this recall.

What on earth is chocolate-"style" ice cream?
Chocolate-"style"?
I'll tell you what that is
It's no (bleep)-ing chocolate.
