Between 20 July and 10 August, the platform at Praça de Espanha station, in the direction of Santa Apolónia, will be closed for renovation work carried out by the Lisbon Metro.

Conversely, the platform in the opposite direction will be closed between 10 August and 31 August. Thus, during this period, trains will not stop at the Praça de Espanha platform when heading towards Reboleira on the Lisbon metro's blue line.

"This intervention aims primarily to improve the conditions of use and conservation of this station, through the rehabilitation of the entire station floor, at the level of the north atrium, south atrium and platform," the Metro pointed out.

The company assures that the organisation of the works took into account the non-compromise of services and sought to minimise obstacles to the normal functioning of the station. In this way, the company ensures staggered closures, giving users more freedom to continue their journeys.
