A dozen counties in Bragança, Guarda and Faro at maximum fire risk

A dozen counties in the districts of Bragança, Guarda and Faro are at maximum risk of wildfires today, despite the Met Office (IPMA) forecasting a drop in temperatures and scattered light showers, in places.

According to the IPMA, more than 50 municipalities in the north and centre of the country and two in the Algarve are at also at very high risk of rural fires.
