"In about 30% of the cases in which the transmission was identified, it occurred at the place of residence," said the minister at the daily press conference to update information about the pandemic.

The data refer to an analysis with a sample of 2,958 confirmed cases between April 18 and 24 in the country.

From the analysis carried out, it was also identified that 25% of the cases corresponded to outbreak situations in collective institutions, such as homes, private institutions of social solidarity, hotels or companies.

The Minister of Health also stressed that 9% of the confirmed cases in this sample referred to contact with friends and family members who did not live at home.
