Algarve docks are selling fewer sardines, more mackerel

Algarve docks are selling fewer sardines and more mackerel.

There has been a surge in demand for mackerel, believed to be largely driven by the reduced sardine fishing quotas.

Overall less fish was sold at Portuguese docks this year than last year, with the volume sold being down by 850 tons.
