Algarve has lowest Covid-19 transmission risk rate (Rt) in country

The Algarve has the lowest Covid-19 transmission risk rate (Rt) in the country, Health Minister Marta Temido said yesterday, describing the rate as a "very encouraging number”.

According to the data revealed at a press conference, the national transmission rate (Rt) from 5 to 10 October was of 1.2. The region where it was highest was in the North (1.34) and the Algarve was where it was lowest (0.91), which corresponds, on average, to 34 new cases per day in the Algarve region.

Of course it's all to do with the 80,000 coming in from all over,only a few days ago in the papers,they said the Algarve was the second highest region,its a joke. .Tell the truth and stop this madness.
