Yolanda is a very talented surfer. She not only holds the top spot in the national ranking, but already is ranking at 80th place in the Women's Qualifying Series of the World Surfing Lead, and was awarded with the Tiago Pires 2019 award for most promising Portuguese surfer. It is clear that her courage, determination, hard work and grit will carry her far in her quest to grow on the international stage, but inevitably she will also need funding to be successful, as competing in the QS costs money. That's why a fundraising campaign was set up by friends to help this girl to realise her dream. Please visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/yolanda-hopkins-qs-budget, and give whatever you can spare.
