So far some 60 boxes of imported ice-cream were seized in Vila Franca da Xira due to labelling issues and improper transportation.
Some 60 ASAE checkpoints have been set up between Valença in northern Portugal and the Algarve in the south, with the operation stretching between 7pm last night and 2am Saturday morning.
