Azores with no new cases of infection in the last 24 hours

The Azores Health Authority reported on that the analyzes carried out in the two reference laboratories in the region in the last 24 hours have not revealed new positive cases of covid-19.

"The measures to prevent and contain the pandemic must be maintained and reinforced, whenever possible, by citizens and public, private and social sector organisations", underlines the note released by that entity.

So far, a total of 67 positive cases have been detected in the region, with one recovered and 66 active for infection by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes covid-19 disease, 32 in São Miguel, 10 in Terceira island, three in Graciosa, seven in São Jorge, nine in Pico and five in Faial.
