Bilateral summit with Mozambique opens in Lisbon

Lisbon hosts the IV Bilateral Summit between Portugal and Mozambique today (3July) in the presence of Portugal’s prime minister, Antonio Costa and Mozambique’s president, Filipe Nyusi.

The Summit takes place at the Intercontinental Hotel and will be opened at 10.30 by Eurico Brilhante Dias, secretary of state for the internationalisation of Portugal.

Later, António Costa and Filipe Nyusi will head to the Foz Palace for a meeting.

In the previous summit between the two countries in Maputo in July 2018, they signed agreements and memoranda of cooperation in the areas of international trade, civil protection and police, employment and social security, transport and tourism.
