Currently, the tool estimates that Bitcoin is using around seven gigawatts of electricity, equal to 0.21 percent of the world's supply. That is as much power as would be generated by seven nuclear power plants at once

Does that include all the cooling etc of buildings housing the bitcoin machines , and all the internet installations used to access them .
Bitcoin is far from ecological as most electricity is generated from fossil fuel in the world .
