The summer of Covid-19 proved to be an opportunity, especially for rural tourism with full capacity and the length of stays of tourists more than doubling from “an average of one to two days to three to five days”, said the Chamber President of Bragança, Hernâni Dias.

According to Lusa News Agency, the president confirmed that the Bragança region has the capacity to offer touristic diversity not only in the summer, but throughout the year and, therefore, the municipality decided to create a tool that allows tourists to plan their visit with information, based on four central themes: nature, gastronomy, culture and heritage.
