Brits among 19 suspected traffickers arrested in Algarve

Nineteen people of various nationalities have been arrested and some three kilograms of cocaine, one kilogram of cannabis and 300 grams of heroin have been seized, among other objects and valuables, in a drugs bust in the Algarve

The Public Ministry (MP) announced today (Wednesday) that the arrests took place yesterday, with 13 suspects initially arrested and then six more after being caught red-handed.

The detainees, of British, Portuguese, Cape Verdean and Guinean nationalities, are suspected of "buying and selling drugs to resellers and consumers in the Algarve, especially in the Albufeira area”.
