“The end of summer is marked at Casa da Música with memorable music from different times and places”, affirms, in a statement, the cultural equipment, where, throughout the month of September, several resident groups will honour Ludwing van Beethoven, in a cycle entitled "Beethoven 2020".

Throughout the month, the Symphony Orchestra brings to Sala Suggia “concerting pieces”, such as the Triple Concert, by Mestre de Bona, on 11 September, which has the Van Baerle Trio, and which intends to remember the only time that composer thought of a work for orchestra with more than a solo instrument: piano, violin and cello.

The Remix Ensemble also presents at the Casa da Música Hans Zender's “challenging piece”, for several instruments, built from the “Diabelli Variations”, which Beethoven composed for piano, which will take place on September 15th.

The end of summer celebrations kicks off with the concert by The Lengendary TigerMan, on 5 September, and with “lonesome cowboy of Portuguese rock”, Paulo Furtado, taking the stage at Sala Suggia, at 10pm.

On 19 September, it is the turn of the Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin to debut, at 18:00, with a program focused on music for youth, including Schumann's "Children's Scenes", a set of memories that an adult would have from his own childhood.

On 26 September, it is time for the Braga Mão Morta band to take the stage at Sala Suggia, at 10 pm, in a concert that, in addition to their repertoire, will pass for “classics that no fan can do without”.

The Casa da Música will also pass Barbara Tinoco, on the 7, 08, 09 and 10 of September, Best Youth, on the 12 September, and Rui Massena, on the 30th, thus ending the celebration of the end of the summer.
