Coach drivers and tour guides stage protest

Tourism coach drivers staged a protest march yesterday (Wednesday, September 16) from Albufeira to Faro, to raise awareness about the “many difficulties” the sector is going through at present, which they describe as a “profound crisis”.

Members of the Algarve Tour Guide Association (Agigarve) also joined the protest.

The action was attended by «15 to 20 companies and 50 to 60 people» and culminated outside the headquarters of the Algarve Regional Tourism Board (RTA) in Faro.
