According to a report by The Telegraph, the UK government is due to announce the updated travel corridor today with Portugal on a list of potential countries to be added to the travel corridor and therefore eliminating the need to quarantine for 14 days upon return from Portugal to the UK.
Portugal, Bulgaria, Singapore and Azerbaijan are all possibilities for the UK green list while Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, French Polynesia, Croatia, Trinidad and Tobago and Liechtenstein are all possibilities to be removed from the list.
The UK has set a threshold of 20 cases per 100,000 for inclusion on the travel corridor and the Portuguese authorities have been in contact with the UK government to highlight the positive evolution of the cases in the country.

Just spent 10 days in the Algarve and I got to say all the restaurants, Bar owners , shops keepers should be very pleased with themselves as we felt a lot safer in the Algarve then we did in London with Covid. There are hand sanitizer’s everywhere and you need a mask in any enclosed area. Hopefully it won’t be long before the U.K. government see sense and lift all restrictions. Obrigado Portugal ????????
